Bit of a rough patch...
This past weekend was kind of a bummer because we didn't do anything...again. That seems to be our new thing now: be boring as all get out. But! Friday morning I went to the temple and did family names and Jeff accompanied me and did the guys' names. It was so awesome! Not only did we have a good time but it just felt so good to get their names cleared and ready to go. Now it's their turn! And then my sister and I thought up a fun group date for who knows when haha but Jeff agreed to go with me! And then the weekend got progressively worse because I kept thinking about the tests I had to take the next week and yeah it all crashed on Sunday. My RA talked with me about it and it helped alot. So today has been a good day and the tests don't even seem that bad so it's all good in the hood! That's pretty much all that's been going on in my life right now...breaking down, being boring, work, school, and sleeping and eating. Good times.

A new look
So this week was kind of a bummer week except for a couple of fun things. On Wednesday I got to play in a soccer intramural game and we totally kicked butt! And then Lost was on right after it so I had to sprint home basically and if any of you know campus, I had to run from the indoor soccer field down by the Smith Fieldhouse all the way to Heritage Halls...two words: RB stairs! Killer, let me tell you. People were looking at me like I was insane probably haha oh well. Then Friday I kind of broke down when I had to do my physiology homework and I had no idea how to do it. Trina kind of helped me realize that I was going about it the wrong way and she was there to comfort me. Thanks Trin :) So then I was able to take the quiz and do alright on it. We then went bowling that night on campus which was alot of fun. We came up with bowler names. Jessica's was Ginger, Trina's was Berta, and mine was Helga.
Saturday I slept in like a loser haha and then made pizza for lunch with the boys! It was fun! Then we kind of all parted ways: Kylie and Lindsey went to the basketball game, Jessica Katherine and I went to the Ryan Shupe concert which was amazing!, and Meghan had a blind date! We all had a blast and even got a visit from our old roommate Veronica! It was so good to see her again. We ended up staying up til two talking in the kitchen, which caused us to sleep in the next day haha.
Church was really good today because of Relief Society! We talked alot about things that help us get through trials and I just think it came at such a good time in my life. And then tonight my sister had me print off a few family names so I could do the baptisms for the girls and Jeff is willing to do the men's names for me! I couldn't stop at just a few haha I had to print off a whole bunch! I'm just so excited to do their ordinances for them and give them the opportunity to accept the gospel!!!

Slowly but surely
So this semester has been moving at a snail pace! It's going good so far though so that's all that matters I guess. Phsyiology and Stats are going to be the real killers but they seem to be working out alright. Work is going pretty good too. The hardest thing is the getting up part though haha. Hmm I don't really have much to post about...Today we are going shopping and then to the tumbling gym that's around here so that should be lots of fun!! Below are some pictures of the new haircut that Julia wanted!!

So yeah a really random post but...yeah

So much...
Christmas break was awesome to be able to go home and see everyone again. There were a few people that I didn't get to see much and I regret that, especially those that were or still are going through a rough time. So I want you to know that I love you and hope everything is well!
Getting back to campus wasn't as difficult as getting to PA so that was a plus. Also I was able to fly with my sister and Emily Clark's mom so it made the trip better as well. Before I left though I got bangs! Jenny cut my hair for me one early morning and I love it! Thanks Jenny :)
Upon arriving back it was get back into school mode. The night I got in there wasn't anyone home in my apartment (later to find out that Jessica actually was) so I went over to the boys apartment to say hi to them and they were so excited to see me. Haha it was crazy to see them run out the door to give me a hug. Good times. Anyways, Saturday my roommates, the boys, and my sister went and got books and stuff and got ready for school on Monday. We also went to the BYU v. Wake Forest men's basketball game which was amazing! We could have beat them but the stupid refs...so anyways haha it was a close game and they lost. Then we went sledding that night and it was so much fun! Library hill is definately the place to sled because of the ledge at the bottom...amazing haha. We also discovered how hard this snowman someone built was...by running into it. Not a fun time haha.
Church was good on Sunday...besides the fact that we thought it started at ten-thirty but in reality it was at one as usual. All those sacrificed hours of sleep! It was also ice cold that day. Anyways it was a good Sunday. We had Trina over later for dinner and such and then went tunnel singing and were like the only ones there.
Then school and work started on Monday! Work was bright and early at five and it wasn't so bad. I mean yes I do have to clean the bathrooms but there are like two stalls in each and then I also have someone else working with me so it gets done faster. She didn't talk to me at first so it was kind of awkward but its getting better. So far school is good too. Monday and Tuesday I probably could have broken down and cried, in fact Tuesday I almost did, because my Physiology class is going to be the hardest thing ever. He said straight up that we should have taken a college chemistry class before this one. Are you serious?! I haven't taken chemistry since ninth grade! Needless to say I didn't understand anything in lab on Monday, but lecture was good because he was talking about anatomy haha so I understood that. I think I just had a really negative attitude about the class and already assumed that I was going to fail. After I talked to my sister and God that changed. A series of small blessings occurred last night to change my mood and I just have a feeling of peace now. As I was sitting in lecture today, not understanding anything he was talking about, I didn't feel over whelmed or the need to freak out so it's going to be just fine. Besides that everything else is going great. We had a little girls night out last night. My roommates, Emily, and I went to the dollar theater to see Forever Strong. It is such a good movie! It was alot of fun to go with the girls too. Good times. So yeah that's about it for now...

Home
Finals are over!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!! First semester of college in the pocket haha. Finals went well I think. I'm waiting for my geography grade, got a 77 on American Heritage (no worries there's a curve) and an 88 on anatomy, not what I needed to be a TA but I'm satisfied because that test was ridiculously hard!
So now I'm on my journey home. I started out yesterday morning with my roommate Meghan and my friend Nikki that I work with. The roads were horrible!! We were going at best 20-20 mph on the highway and it was scary as crap. I live in Pennsylvania yes but I've never driven through snow like that, and I am definately not used to the Utah drivers that like to cut right in front of you car which in turn causes you to brake hard on a snowy highway. Genius. We prayed though before we left and I was praying the whole drive to the airport haha and He helped me get through it. I look back on it now and I have no idea how I had the strength and the nerve to do it, but we made it :) I dropped Meghan off at the airport and then Nikki and I drove to my other roommate, Katherine's, house in Bountiful to stay until our flights that were later that day. We built a snowman in their backyard, talked with Katherine's mom, and started watching Single's Ward. My flight ended up getting delayed and my connecting flight in Las Vegas wasn't going to wait for me so they had to reschedule my flight. So I ended up staying the night and they took me to the airport in the morning, but Nikki was able to fly out which was good. Last night I got to go to a junior high Christmas concert and then just chill.
As of right now I am sitting in the Denver airport waiting for my connecting flight to Nashville and then on the Philadelphia! I so can't wait to be home!!!!!

Crunch time!
Its the week before finals and I am so scared!! Especially for American Heritage and Anatomy...and Geography ah! I think I have a pretty good method for studying for all three but today ruins my study pattern!! Our University class is making us turn our projects in today and stay for two hours to present it to different people...I need those two hours!! I'll just have to play catch up later this week...but besides that everything is excellent! Jeff is in my group for the university project so we got to talk alot last night and it was so good:) yay. I'm thinking I might go on a walk with him and talk to him about liking him I guess because I know he knows I like him but I don't think he knows that I know that...Make sense? haha. So I just want to talk to him about it and stuff. So yeah that's pretty much all I'll be up to this week...so please whenever you want to, please save me from my insanity!!! haha I feel it coming on right...now...

so tired...and it's not even finals week yet :(
I have my new job! I can start right now if I really wanted to but I'm going to do that next semester when we get back from Christmas break!! Speaking of which, its only a week and a half away!!! yes!! oh update...My roommate Veronica isn't coming back here for winter semester. She doesn't really like it here but she said it had nothing to do with us! She just doesn't like Heritage I think and stuff. So I'm getting a new roomie in January :( It almost was going to be my friend from back home, Emily Clark, but then some Lindsey Hurd girl took it before she could grab it or before we could hold it. Emily did get a room in a hall right behind mine so that isn't too bad. Ah! I don't want to be negative about it but I just don't want to go through the awkward roommate stage again! I don't want a new roommate! It's got to be awkward for her coming into an apartment of girls that already know each other so well...and what if she comes between our friendships that we've made! What if she tries to take our men! Ah! Haha...positive be positive...thats what I keep telling myself. My roommates and I tried to creep on her on facebook but we haven't gotten very far haha. I did talk to her though and she seems really nice, but I don't think she gets my humor yet and that could be a problem for both of us haha. so frustrating...and it doesn't help that I got a 73 on my anatomy lab final! Grr...but I did get a 90 on the multiple choice portion of Geography so thats a plus but seriously??? I mean come on a 73?! I knew all of that crap and it just makes me so mad at myself...oh well what can I do now. Tonight we are going to a Christmas around the world dance production and then probably just chill. Oh! and I might hang out with a friend I haven't seen in a while so that will be good :)
