So today I said goodbye to my parents and sadly I feel great about it. It's not like I don't love them or anything its just I'm so ready to be on my own and not have to worry about making sure I see them. So now I can just focus on my studies and schoolwork, 'cause that's what I'm here to do right? right. So anyways, today was our first day of classes! They went really well, but the hard ones start tomorrow so ask me again tomorrow if I like my classes. I also started my new really cool job...making salsa!! That is seriously my job, don't be hating. I get to go in like every other day for an hour or two and make salsa, and then I'm free! I agree its probably not going to be a high paying job, but its a job nonetheless and I love it so thats a bonus. After classes I went and hung out at my neighbors apartment. Well really I just stepped in their apartment because I heard them singing and playing the guitar, they were really good so I wanted to tell them that. The one girl's name is Deneka and the one playing the guitar is Mika. So cool right? So then we sat there and sang songs together...around a campfire haha no but we could have been. It was way awesome. The girls in my apartment and the one next to us just get along so well its awesome!
My roommates and I also decided to start a quote wall. When someone says something funny we write it on a star stickie note and stick it to our wall in the kitchen. Some of them include..." You know how a spork is a spoon and a fork put together? Well spam is a spoon and ham put together." and " This safety lid is extra safety tonight." Haha. We were also really loopy for some reason, so basically everything was way funny. It really seems like we've known each other for a long time before this. After that we tried to make smoothies...I say tried because we couldn't decide who was right. Do you put icecream, yogurt, or milk in it? How bout all three? They turned out really good though...and the sugar probably didnt help our loopiness. Oh well. We ended this awesome night with She's the Man.
